JACRTrainee Editorial Board

Applications for the JACR Trainee Editorial Board are now closed.

The JACR Trainee Editorial Board works with the JACR Editor-in-Chief and Deputy Editor to gain hands-on experience in medical editing, journalism, and publishing. Trainees will participate in mentored peer review, small-group lectures, and other activities related to scholarly publishing throughout a radiology career. 

You’ll get an inside look behind the scenes at the JACR -- and an invitation to the JACR board celebration at RSNA.

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Resident or fellow in a radiology specialty
  • Membership in the ACR
  • Evidence of interest in medical journalism and specifically the JACR, including publishing articles, participating in research, and serving as a reviewer for medical journals

Your application should include the following:

  • Current curriculum vitae
  • A cover letter explaining how serving on the Trainee Editorial Board relates to your career goals
  • A letter of recommendation from your department chair or residency program director
