Course material includes congenital disease, trauma, stroke and vascular imaging; neoplasms of the brain; and neck, orbit and spine central nervous system (CNS) infections, with a systematic pattern approach to differential diagnosis.
Instruction will be provided by nationally and internationally recognized faculty who will emphasize radiologic-pathologic correlation to enhance your understanding of neuroradiology imaging.
At the conclusion of this course, you will be able to:
- Recognize the most common neurologic lesions.
- Describe the best imaging modality for a variety of neurologic lesions.
- Identify the tools and strategies that can be implemented to facilitate radiology-pathology communication and correlation.
- Describe those diseases of the central nervous system, head, neck and spine in which radiologic imaging is key for accurate diagnosis.
