These interactive case review webinars — a new educational opportunity for medical students, interns and residents — emphasize the critical importance of correlating radiologic imaging findings with corresponding pathologic features.

Through a series of selected clinical cases, faculty will guide participants in understanding how imaging appearances reflect underlying pathologic processes. The session reinforces key diagnostic principles, enhances pattern recognition, and fosters a deeper understanding of disease mechanisms.

This integrative approach not only improves diagnostic accuracy but also strengthens communication between radiologists, pathologists and referring clinicians—ultimately leading to better patient care.

Learning Objectives

  • Recognize the key imaging features of common and clinically relevant pathologies and correlate them with their underlying pathologic findings.
  • Understand how radiologic-pathologic correlation enhances diagnostic accuracy and supports more informed clinical decision-making.
  • Apply principles of radiologic-pathologic correlation to improve communication with pathologists and referring physicians in multidisciplinary care.
