North Carolina Radiological Society

The North Carolina Radiological Society (NCRS) is the state's professional organization for radiology and a chapter of the American College of Radiology^®. We aim to enhance the value of radiology, radiation oncology, interventional radiology, nuclear medicine and medical physicians by advancing the science of radiology, improving patient care, influencing socio-economic factors in radiology practice and providing education.

NCRS advocates on behalf of its members about state and federal legislative matters, Medicare and third-party payor issues. It offers educational activities, including spring and fall meetings and weekend CME mammography and vascular ultrasound courses to support accreditation.

NCRS promotes excellence in radiology practice and encourages members to represent the field in their communities, hospitals, and through political engagement.
