Member Action Sought to Build Support for Patients First Act

ACR^® members’ action today can help the College’s efforts to move Medicare reform forward by encouraging congressional support of the bipartisan Patients First Act (H.R. 9693). The bill includes long-sought Medicare reforms to improve physician payment stability, reduce administrative burden and protect patient access to care.

Introduced last month, H.R. 9693 also includes the Radiology Outpatient Ordering Transmission (ROOT) Act, a key ACR priority that would modernize Medicare's imaging Appropriate Use Criteria program and promote evidence-based imaging.

To advance this legislation, additional co-sponsors are needed. Contact your representative today and urge them to cosponsor H.R. 9693.
