Read moreThe American College of Radiology Institute for Radiologic Pathology™ now offers the Hot Seat Course – a two-day immersive experience focused on case presentation, diagnostic reasoning through expert-led unknown case discussions and rapid-fire question-and-answer sessions to help residents and fellows sharpen presentation and diagnostic skills under pressure.
“The Hot Seat Course offers a high-yield learning experience that places participants directly “in the hot seat,” and simulates the ways radiologists will need to present oral cases while strengthening clear, confident and well-reasoned case presentation skills,” said Priscilla Jennings Slanetz, MD, MPH, FACR, chair of the ACR® Commission on Publications and Lifelong Learning.
The course focuses on clear communication, clinical reasoning and confident decision-making. Sessions feature small cohort rotations through seven radiology subspecialties and emphasize a structured, efficient approach to case interpretation and differential diagnosis.
