CMS Updates ICD-10 Codes for Radiology NCDs
Change Request 14194 details ICD-10 coding revisions for mammograms, PET for oncologic conditions and percutaneous image-guided breast biopsy.
Read moreThe Small Business Administration (SBA) released a proposed rule to revise the monetary-based small business size standards for 263 industries, including diagnostic imaging centers and other healthcare practices. If adopted, the rule would expand eligibility for SBA programs such as 7(a) general-purpose loans and 504 long-term, fixed-rate loans.
As part of the agency’s periodic five-year review, the proposal increases annual receipts-based size standards across nearly all affected industries. For example, the threshold for “Diagnostic Imaging Centers” (NAICS 621512) would rise from $19 million to $22 million (a 15.79% increase), and for “Offices of Physicians” (NAICS 621111), from $16 million to $19 million (an 18.75% increase). SBA estimates that approximately 11,300 additional businesses would newly qualify as small under this proposal.
ACR® members interested in providing feedback to inform future ACR comments to the SBA should contact Michael Peters, ACR Senior Director, Government Affairs.
