Their Feb. 10 sessions in Dubai spotlighted ACR international membership options, quality and safety initiatives and an artificial intelligence (AI) portfolio designed to promote high-quality imaging and safe AI adoption across global health systems.
Dr. Wald’s presentation traced radiology AI evolution and spotlighted ACR leadership in guiding ethical, effective and clinically impactful AI implementation. Through the ACR Data Science Institute®, ACR launched initiatives including the Define-AI Directory, AI-LAB™, AI Central, ARCH-AI quality recognition and the Assess-AI registry. These programs support education, validation, ethics and post-deployment monitoring of imaging AI.
